Why am I so ugly?
Why am I ugly and fat? Everyone in my family is good looking, but not me, why is that?
Kevin is five feet tall and overweight. He feels that he always gets rejected by girls because he is fat and ugly. Whenever he approaches a girl, thoughts of inadequacy pop up into his mind and he starts stuttering and forgets what he was going to say to a girl.
Since Kevin has a poor self and body image and since he sees himself as undesirable and not handsome, he often stays home on the weekend for the fear of getting rejected by girls due to his looks.
He keeps dwelling over the question “Why am I so ugly? If I just lose my weight and improve how my face looks, I would start meeting more girls and talking to them.”
Poor self image and poor body image
The fact that Kevin has a hard time approaching girls and holding a conversation with them has nothing to do with his looks, it is all in his mind and how he sees himself. He can’t approach girls due to his poor self image.
What Kevin holds in his subconscious mind, reflects back to his outer world as the spiritual law says, “As within, so without.” Unless he works on changing his perception of himself, he will stay worrying over his looks and he will stay having a hard time meeting girls.
Why am I so ugly
Phrases like “I’m ugly” “I’m fat” “I don’t look good” are phrases used by the false self to keep you stuck in your current situation. The problem is those statements not only will they affect your relationship of meeting others, but also affect different areas of your life.
Improving your self esteem and poor body image will not only help your social life, but also you will begin to do better at your job, business, etc…
Correct your self image
This is all good information, but what can you do if you are one of those people who think they look ugly and fat? To stop seeing yourself as fat and ugly, you need to work on developing healthy self image. The good news is that it all begins with your mentality. Here are 2 tips that will help you to correct your poor body image of yourself:
1. Visualize the outcome you desire
Start holding daily visualization sessions to help you remove the blocks you have placed upon yourself. During the creative visualization sessions, see yourself as a beautiful human being, worthy of all love. See yourself as a confident human who has no problems approaching and talking to others. Hear their voices and see how happy they are to talk to you.
Feel the exitment that comes from loving yourself. When you keep visualizing and repeating what you want to achieve, you are programming your subconscious mind with positive mental images about yourself and about the way you look. Within a short time, you will begin to see yourself as a new person and your will begin to have a healthy positive self image.
2. Emotional recall
Use emotional recall to help you get rid of the poor self and body image you hold of yourself. Imagine an emotion from your past where you have felt beautiful, handsome, and confident about your looks. Remember the emotions you felt and how confident you were.
Emotional recall is a powerful exercise that has proven to be helpful to many different people to increase their confidence in themselves and improve their self esteem.
Take charge of your life and stop playing the victim. There is no need to keep repeating the nonsense words “I’m ugly or I’m fat.” These words come from your false self. You are unique and there is no one like you. God gave each one of us different looks and different body type to create variety in the world. Stop worrying about how you look and start living. J
