Visualization techniques-attracting success
Visualization techniques, are they helpful? What is the best creative visualization technique?
I have mentioned before that I’m a big fan of using creative visualization as it is a great way to help you program your subconscious mind with what you want to achieve and overcome the barriers that you hold inside of you.
Also, as I mentioned in my previous article “Does visualization really work” that with the aide of creative visualization, I have achieved many goals in life such as becoming friends with my favorite singer (celebrity), getting 3 week vacation approved from my work, and attracting the woman that I love who has over 95% of the attributes I want in a woman among other things.
At the end of August, I decide to use creative visualization as a tool to increase my e-books sales and the results were amazing. Following the visualization technique that I did which I discuss below, my e-books sales have increased 6% for the month of September. Amazing right?
Creative visualization techniques
I know you are probably wondering by now what the creative visualization technique that I used is and how I did it. If that is the case, then read on:
1. Choose a comfortable place
For this exercise, it doesn’t matter where you are as long as you are comfortable. You could be sitting in a chair, lying on the bed or walking. Choose whatever is comfortable for you as long as you won’t get disturbed.
Personally, I do this visualization technique while I’m walking or sitting as I find it more effective.
2. Start with gratitude and appreciation
Before I visualize, I like to start with giving gratitude for all the blessings that I have in my life. I spend about 15-20 minutes going over the gifts that God has bestowed upon me and I meditate on those blessings. What this does is helps me increase the positive emotions and feelings within me before I start visualization.
3. Visualize your goals
Now that I am relaxed and my feelings are positive, I’m in a good position to start visualizing. I start visualizing my website is very popular and my books are in great demand. I visualize people buying my books and very eager to read them.
I start imagining myself prosperous and that money is flowing to me in avalanches. I visualize the life style that I enjoy living and I feel it.
I keep repeating this visualization technique around 3 times a day and the results are amazing so far. As I practice, I keep on improving in overcoming the limiting beliefs that I have.
As you can see visualization techniques are great way to work through the barriers you have as stated in my book “the ultimate guide to achieve your goals.” It doesn’t matter what creative visualization technique you use as long as you get what you wish and desire. Practice and see what works for you and what doesn’t. It is through practice and experimentation you get amazing and desirable results with the aide of visualization techniques.

Hi Julie,
I’m glad that you found the article motivating.
Once we start use the art of visualization, great things start to happen to us. Thanks Julie
Hi Dia,
Yes, visualization is wonderful to use. Walking and visualizing, now that sound wonderful. Never thought of that one. I’ll have to try it. I always like to lay down quietly and feel my body relaxing.
We are what we think we are and when we start visualizing what we want it can be. I do like that you take 15 to 20 minutes to be grateful. To me this is very important. We always need to count our blessing.
Great post Dia and thank you for sharing it.
Blessing,
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
Exactly my friend, counting our blessings is crucial. It will make us focus on what we do have and it crease the positivity in our emotions. Then when we visualize, our emotions will be upbeat and we will start achieving great results. Thanks Debbie
Thank you Dia for sharing exactly what you do and congratulations on all the wonderful things that continue to happen for you.
My problem is that I’m not consistent and I just start my day off without stopping to give some of this more thought. Oh I speak what I’m grateful for every single day and I meditate in the mornings but sometimes I have problems being able to concentrate. I’ve done visualization but I’m just not consistent.
I do have some things I intend to accomplish before the end of this year so I’m going to stop what I’m doing right after this comment and do this. I’m going to make a more conscious effort to take the time to implement this into my day. I know without a doubt it will be worth every single moment.
Again, thank you for sharing exactly what you do and I know others besides myself will find this extremely helpful.
Have a blessed day Dia!

Hello Dia,
I think that visualization has a way of increasing and making real what we want. I believe that by visualizing something we are able to more strongly generate the Law of attraction.
It’s something that I have experimented with myself and it really does work.

Hi, Dia!
I already noticed you like writing about visualization of your goals and the techniques of how to achieve it. I also agree it is of great importance to be able to make proper visualizations and believe in them…and then take action in order to make the goal happen.
I will try out your techniques here-I do not doubt they are working.

Indeed, Dia. Adopting and attitude of gratitude and appreciation opens us up to abundance of the universe. What we stare at stares back… stare at NO and we have NO-Attacks. Until we awaken to the danger of staring at NO we place our original nature on the back burner.

Hi Dia,
This is perfect. You’re placing yourself in to a high vibrational state by focusing on gratitude inducing thoughts.
And then, you concentrate on what you want in a way that feels good (or better and better), thus, cleaning up your vibration around that subject. This is how you do it RIGHT! Bravo!
Thanks so much for sharing this technique. You’re doing great work here.
Hugs,
Melody

Hi Dia,
What a great list of techniques to use to attract success. I am very familiar with visualizing my goals. The idea would be to visualize where you want to be and what you want to do. The problem that most people run into is they take there eyes off their goals.
Henry Ford once said, “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.”
Very insightful!

Great piece of advice Dia. I have not been regular with visualization lately although I truly believe in its power to manifest what we want in our lives. This post will probably get me back into a regular visualization routine again.
I should be visualizing how my year end seminar will be so well received that there will be recurring calls for more.
I think step 2 on gratitude is really crucial. It sets our energy and vibrational states in the right frame for a lot of positive things to happen.
Cheers

Excellent stuff Dia! I first learned to practice visualization in physical fitness. At first I thought it was a joke when a traininer told me to picture the result that I was after while performing a set. Well, I learned quickly that it worked. It worked big time!
Great advice here Dia. Thanks for sharing!
