You attract whatever you fear most

Are there fears that keep haunting you in life?  Do you want to put an end to your fears?

The universe is based on energy that God has created for a purpose. If you understand this small fact, you will end up understanding many things in life.

Imagine the universe as a tool that understands only emotions and how you feel. When you keep saying and feeling, “I’m afraid, I’m afraid, I’m afraid…,” this is what the universe is going to give you, more fear.

It is a law that is present at all times. When you understand the spiritual laws, you will be able to tell why some people are happy while some are not. You will be able to understand why some folks are prosperous while some are not. You will be able to fathom why some have harmonious relationships while some struggle.

When you understand the spiritual laws, you will no longer interpret events in life in a simple way like the majority of people such as religious folks and politicians.

When you tell your child, “Don’t do this and don’t do that,” he actually hears the word “do.” For instance, if I tell you right now not to think of a black car, most likely you will start thinking of one unless you are someone who has control over his thoughts and feelings.

The same goes for your fears, when you project fear, when you project fear, the universe answers and gives you more fear.  If you fear poverty, you will keep attracting more poverty situations.  If you fear illnesses, then you are bound to get sick sooner or later.

How to overcome fears?

By now you might be saying, “What should I do? How can I get over my fears?” Let’s take a small exercise that will help you reduce and get rid of fear, shall we?

First let me mention to you that there is a big difference between being afraid and being wary or careful. Being careful is a wisdom where being afraid causes you stress and makes you live in the past or future. There are very few people who live life without any fear. If you can get to this level, many opportunities will show up for you and you will begin to experience more inner peace than the average individual.

1. Acknowledgement

First you need to acknowledge your fears. Get a piece of paper or open a word document and write down all of your fears. Then next to each fear, write down the severity of each fear from 0-10 (10 being the worst).

2. Find a solution

A) Write down the steps that you are going to take to help you reduce your fears and turn then into bravery.

B) Turn your fears into goals. Some times fear needs to be turned into love, bravery or strength. Based on the situation, you will make the determination. Here are some examples you can use as a reference:

Fear of flying— You could change it to bravery

Fear of getting into an argument with your partner— You can turn it to love and giving compassion

Fear of rejection— You could turn this fear to self confidence and self acceptance.  (for more info, check Self love: How to improve self esteem and build confidence)

Therefore, write down all of the goals you will start working on that are opposite of the fear you are experiencing, so there will be no need for you to fear anything anymore.

When you are scared of something, it only means you have some unresolved feelings or unfulfilled goal.

Finally remember, the more fears you have, the more you will attract them into your life.
