Nothing is impossible

Nothing is impossible

Is there is something called impossible? What is impossible? How to do the impossible?

Let me begin by telling you that there is nothing is impossible. What you can conceive, you can achieve.

When Fred Smith, the founder of FedEx was a student in the second year of College at Yale University, he was asked by his professor to do a project that represents one of his dreams and goals in life.

Fred said that he wants to create a service that delivers packages anywhere in the world in less than two days. Do you know what his teacher told him? The professor told Fred that his idea will fail and no one would need such service in the world.

The professor gave him a C on his project and informed him that he if wants to get a better grade, he would have to come up with a different idea. Do you know what Fred Smith replied? He said “You can leave your assessment to yourself and I will stay with my dreams.”

What can we learn from Fred Smith? We can learn one thing that nothing is impossible in life.  As I mentioned in my book “the ultimate guide to achieve your goals” that we can achieve whatever we believe deep in our subconscious mind.

How to do the impossible

To do the impossible, you would need the following:

1. You have to believe it is possible to achieve what you desire.

2. You have to have faith

3. You need to persist and never give up until you reach your aspirations and goals.

4. You need to visualize and act as if you have already achieved what you want.

5. You need to work on programming your subconscious mind with what you desire.

Nothing is impossible

In life, you will come across many different obstacles on your journey to success. Sometimes, you will be tempted to give up on your goals and aspirations and everything will seem to be impossible. It is then however, you need to hold on to the goal and challenge whatever hurdle comes your way.

Remember what Napoleon Bonaparte said, “Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools.”

Do you know that only 3% of the world’s population manage to plan and reach their goals? I’m with you most of the way, but I do think we have to respect physical limitations.

As a 49 year old English guy, it is impossible for me to win the womans 100m at this years Olympics representing France ;-)

  2. Hi DIa,

Interesting story. Sometimes I guess it does pay off to share your dreams and projects further down the line, so you don’t have the negative feedback. But for some it is someone saying no, that spurs them on to prove they can accomplish their dream. It is that kind of commitment that gets things done. We do need to have the confidence and believe in ourselves. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Dia,

I love that he stuck to his guns and with his dream.

I think that the word impossible has other meanings as well. For instance I would never climb a mountain and to me that would be impossible. I’m not in that type of physical condition to achieve something like that. Or run a marathon but that’s only because I haven’t trained to do anything of that nature. I also have no desire to as well so overall if I did chose to do that then I would give it my all. Whether I accomplish it or not is a whole other story.

You’ve definitely given me something to think about, that’s for sure.

    Have a great week Dia.

  4. Love this story. You are right when saying, “Nothing is impossible”. When we have faith we can move mountains.

Thanks Dia and What Napoleon Bonaparte said, “Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools” is very true.

Great post! I couldn’t agree more. There were many things I’ve accomplished that didn’t seem possible initially. If I had believed they were truly impossible, I would have never been able to see many of my dreams come true, including a successful career based on doing something I love. Thanks for even more inspiration.
