Do you depeond on natural anxiety cures or on anxiety medications? 

Two thirds of the patients who suffer from illnesses deal with stress and anxiety related issues according to studies.  Migraines, high blood pressure, fatigue, anger are all examples of the illnesses that affect millions of people.  Not only that, but anxiety can also lead to heart diseases. 

When I was working for an International company a few years ago, one of the boards of directors for this company left his company due to excessive stress, which caused him a heart disease in the long run.  As you can see, people from all walks of life deal and suffer from anxiety to some extent.  The key is to not let it affect your life negatively. 

Many people when they experience anxiety, they turn to anxiety medications instead of dealing with it naturally.  As I mentioned in my book “How to overcome worry and have peace of mind” that dealing with stress and worry naturally is more beneficial than taking medications.  When you deal with a problem from its root cause, you will gain long term benefits instead of temporary results.

Dealing with anxiety naturally

If your goal is to learn about the natural anxiety cures and how to deal with anxiety and stress naturally, then follow the quick guide below:

1.  Improve and increase your energy

Many people are neglecting themselves, which is one of the main reasons they suffer from anxiety and stress.  They don’t exercise, eat a lot of junk food, and their self talk is mainly negative.  If that is the case with you, then one of the first steps you need to start applying to your life to overcome excessive anxiety is to increase your energy

Start developing good and positive habits like taking a walk, stretching every two hours for three minutes, drinking more water, eating smaller meals, talking to yourself positively, and practicing the art of meditation and visualization. 

These are all methods that are proven to increase, improve, and boost your energy.

2.  Laugh more

I wrote a few articles on smiling and laughter as they are proven to be among the best natural anxiety cures and help improve the individual’s health according to research.  Doctors found that the more you smile and laugh, the more you will be able to reduce and overcome stress and anxiety as well as improve your immune system. 

The interesting thing to remember is that a fake laugh can produce the same benefits as the real laugh according to research and studies. Therefore, even if you fake your laughter, you still gain benefits and will help you reduce worry and anxiety.

3.  Surround yourself with positive people

One of the reasons I enjoy blogging is I get to surround myself with people who are positive and supportive and who really believe in the power of self development like Alex, JK, Bryan, Rob White, Frank, Farouk, Ayo, and many others. 

We all need support from people and the environment to help us experience less anxiety, worry, and stress. 

Ask yourself, do your environment and the people you surround yourself with help you?  Support you?  Energize you?  If not, then you need to start making small changes and incorporating positive habits instead.  Remember, to overcome an undesirable habit, you have to replace it with a new and desirable habit. 

Of course there are many more steps a person can do to reduce anxiety and stress as well as improve his health, but if you follow these powerful steps, I guarantee you will deal with anxiety the natural way and in return improve your health. 😉

    I prefer socializing over medicines. Meeting people, talking and then having plenty of laughter and games. And, if possible, a bath before sleeping.

    Great points here on naturally dealing with anxiety. I’m not the type who likes to take pills or drink something to make me feel better.

    I have to agree that having a positive peer group to surround ourselves with is the most important. We can literally absorb other peoples energy, that’s ok if the energy is high but if it is low it can have us feeling the effects.

    These are really some awesome tips. I never knew that a fake laugh was just as beneficial as a real one. Now it makes sense why people laugh at my bad jokes. They are just trying to get rid of anxiety that I have probably caused them. :-) To be honest my energy is terrible. I don’t get as much physical exercise that I should. I spend most of my day sitting down in front of a computer at work and then again when I get home. That’s why I love these tips because I can apply them and change my life.

    I def found this post to be really uplifting. I think when we let go and let the universe do what it wants to do, and breathe more and stress less, we come to a space that allows the stress to lessen overtime.     It’s been a while my friend. But let me tell you, I’ve been able to keep up with your content from my phone. I was on an 8 day vacation with the family…we went to Disney World in Florida…it was a blast!

    Made it back home last night – so I’m back on my blogging activities!

    Natural over medication any day. Why, because psychotropic drugs lead to dependency…and a list of other issues (such as suicidal thoughts). I’ve studied this in detail. Great detail actually. I used to work in the pharma industry and have read the package inserts detailing the side effects. So I’m extremely happy to see the promotion of natural cures to anxiety!

    Excellent advice. There is much power in exercise, positive people, and laughter. My best days are the ones that start out with 20 min morning cardio, lots of jokes and laughter, and positive smiling people around me.

    My worst days are the ones where I skip my workout, focus on the negative thoughts and words that are spoken around me and not much laughter has taken place.

    Definite take away: Had no idea a fake laugh can have the same benefits as a real one lol

    I definitely use exercise as a means for reducing stress and anxiety. I play basketball at least once a week besides my routine. I incorporate laughter also. Sharing that as a family can really brighten us all at the same time.
