Is life unfair

Is life unfair?

Allen grew up in a poor family living from pay check to pay check. As a child, he had great aspirations of becoming a professional singer. People in his town were masters at playing the victim role and blaming life for their poverty and lack of success.

When someone tries to act on his dreams to make them real, most people in the town would try to put him down by saying things like:

  • You are day dreamer
  • You think life is easy
  • You are wasting your time for nothing
  • You are not intelligent enough to succeed

Allen was not one of those people. He had big visions and ambitions. He believed in his talent and in himself. He kept seeing himself as a successful singer that is admired by thousands of people.

Years have passed and now Allen is a professional singer who has released many successful albums and is loved by thousands of people. He knew life is fair to those who are willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish their wildest dreams and desires.

Life is fair

So what do you think? Does life treat us fairly? Is life good or bad to us?

The main issue is that whenever people do not get what they want, they start complaining and blaming other people, the government, and life for their lack of success.

If folks like you and me spend half of their time and energy on “doing” something that brings them closer to their aspirations, they wouldn’t be regard life as unfair.

If you look around you closely, you will notice that life is fair if you stop complaining and stop playing the victim role. Life will be fair to you if you take responsibility for your thoughts and actions.

This doesn’t mean you will not face obstacles on your way. On the contrary, hurdles are part of life. As I mentioned in my book “the ultimate guide to achieve your goals” that the key is to keep persisting in your endeavor until you achieve your goals. The road to success is going from obstacle to obstacle until you reach your destination. And when you do reach your aims and aspirations, you will realize that life is worth living.

Steps to making life work in your favor

1. Know what you really want

2. Identify any limiting belief you have and get rid of it.

3. Work on your inner world by organizing your thoughts to match your goals.

4. Carve out a plan to help you get to your desires.

5. Take inspired action

6. Persist

When you start following these steps, you will begin to notice that you are starting to take responsibility for your life. You will also start to notice that you no longer play the victim and feel sorry for yourself. Only then you will start loving life and saying that life is fair.

  1. Of course I’m going to say something counter while still agreeing with you.

Life can be quite unfair. Some people have it really rough, and others, while maybe not as rough, do have many odds against their achieving their dreams.

Still, people can’t ever quit, or not even try. There’s always an opportunity to change one’s life for the better, to learn more, to take chances, and the best time to do it is when you feel like there’s nothing to lose. Don’t ever try taking the easy way out because you either remain stagnant or you’ll possibly end up doing something unethical.

I love how you’ve encouraged people to try to be better; keep it up.
