How to change your life around
Are you stuck and want to change your life around? Have you read many self-help books, but still nothing changed? Do you tend to help others, but can’t help yourself?
Changing your life around is a process of self-understanding and taking the required action to help you reach your goals. Make the decision now to take charge of your life and begin to look for the answers within you to achieve success in all life domains.
Feeling stuck in life
Jennifer feels stuck in life and nothing is working for her. She works at a job that she doesn’t enjoy and makes meager salary. Her goal is to become a senior manager in Marketing, but doesn’t know how she can get there.
She keeps reading self-help and motivational books hoping to find some answers to her problem. Even though the books she reads are informative and offer a guide to change her life around, she doesn’t do anything with the information. She keeps reading, but doesn’t take any action.
When Jennifer was told that she has to apply the knowledge into her life, she comes up with various excuses like:
“It is too hard”
“It is not going to work for me; it works only for the few who are lucky”
“I have tried to apply the knowledge, but nothing worked”
And the list of excuses goes on and on.
Unfortunately, this is very common in today’s world, not only for Jennifer, but for many people, hence they stay stuck in life.
Self-help books are good and very helpful if you apply what you learn to your life and start practicing. Changing your life for the better requires you to fix your mental images and take supported action to turn these goals to reality. Otherwise nothing changes and you will keep recreating your life as it is now.
How to change your life around
To learn how to change your life around, follow the tips below:
1. Take responsibility for your negative self talk
Most folks want to change their life around in an instant. They don’t want to correct their negative self talk and negative mental images, instead, they find it easier to blame the circumstances for what is occurring.
As I mentioned in my book “the ultimate guide to achieve your goals” you are responsible and the creator for your life. The sooner you accept this fact, the sooner you will start achieving your aspirations and changing your life around for the better.
2. Meditate daily
Not only does meditation help to clear your mind from all the chaos and negativity in the world, but it also helps to remove the obstacles you place on yourself.
When you attempt to meditate at first, you might find it challenging, but with constant practice, it will become easier and easier.
3. Take supported action
To change your life around, you need to begin to apply what you learn in the self-help books and go the extra mile. If you want to be in a loving relationship, then be in that loving relationship. If you want to enjoy a healthier life, then begin to meditate and exercise.
4. Repeat the above steps and persist
Often folks try for a month or two to reach their goals and if nothing happens within a short period of time, they end up giving up on their desires.
If Thomas Edison didn’t persist over 900 times, he would not have invented the bulb. If Roger Bannister didn’t persist to run a mile under 4 minutes, he would not have become the first one to do so. If the Wright brothers gave up on the idea of flying, we wouldn’t have airplanes to fly from country to country.
Persist and you will without a doubt achieve whatever you intend to achieve and your life will be changed around for the better.
Do you know that only 3% of the world’s population manage to plan and reach their goals? The main goal for 2achieveyourgoals.com is to help you become from the top 3% of the world’s population who know how to achieve any goal they desire in all areas of life. ”The ultimate guide to achieve your goals” was released to help you achieve everything your heart desires. Good stuff as always. One thing for me, that works like gangbusters is that I don’t actively try to change mental self talk, otherwise I find I’m in resistance to my mind. I dissociate from it, because I find that negative thought can’t be eliminated, it just doesn’t need to be followed. Can’t have positive without the negative, and vice versa. Then I follow the thoughts that lead me in the direction I want to go, rather than thinking of positive vs negative. Just my humble two cents!
Love the meditate daily tip, it’s changed my life completely.
