“Life is always an up and down obstacle course that I can’t seem to maintain,” she says.
Her emotional gauge flew upon the track of insanity with each passing moment.
He hear this from the lips of a woman, he has been with. There relationship was platonic; more physical than spiritual. Just last week after they broke up, she lost her internal balance. His ears had become the bell to the ringing of her heart break. He was always first a friend before a lover; so he tires his best to listen intently. She continues to shed pieces of her soul onto the dinning table minutes before the foot ball game.
Her left retina reflected aspects of her he admired. Her right optic glistened with images he detested. He pushed away his internal flaws of judgment and started to listen to her consultation. Her heart break and pain needed to be released from her internal cocoon.
“All I did was love you. All I did was tell you how much I needed you but you just left me.
Naked, cold and alone.
I’m scared and frightened of what the future hold without you. I may have objectified your existence sometimes but I’m too scared to love anyone else as much as I loved you.”
In his eyes she sounds like a crying baby.
His eyes roll back in possible cynicism. From this angle his expression was all too invisible.
He looks towards the next commercial break yearning for this juncture to be over. Females are far too emotional for his taste. He leans back and she plants her lips on his. She caught him off guard and her tears run down his shirt finding a way down her bosoms some how.
She smiles and he presses forward. His mind says, “NO! This will only complicate things and make her want you more. Love you harder. You’ll hurt her in the long run.”
Too late, his mind was too slow. He leant forward, her body levitated off the ground. Her heels sat in the air and his mouth became her mattress, she laid upon. He kissed her back, his tongue tangles with hers.
They stumbled on the couch and her body felt like satin sheets. He tried to push her away but her body at this angle resembles an elegant lioness during breeding season. Her hair meshed with the cocaine white pillow perfectly and his heart began to speak.
“I love you too much to heart you.”
She pulled her self up and he leaned back.
His butt sat on the back of his shins like he was praying at a mosque.
He continued.
“I don’t want to take advantage. You’re more than just a one night of passion. You deserve more. More than I can give.”
He breathes in deeply like a cold summer’s night before he answered.
Let me walk you home.
And Jencks fumbles the ball” is heard in the back drop from the foot ball game.
Summary: In this situation a young man decided to step away from leading a woman on who he had admired before. Thus, preventing her from getting emotionally attached and hurting her even further.
How can you learn from this story?
Lessons from a Love Triangle
- Don’t take a slice of cake (her heart) if your not ready to digest the meal (emotional baggage).
- Make decisions that will benefit you in the long run. Don’t seek quick pleasure, if you’ll regret it right after.
Have self discipline and think about your future before you make your final cut. Because the choices you make today, dictate who you become tomorrow.

Hey Jonathan!
Way to go! I’m proud of you!
Jonathan, Good tale, my friend. I’m an old married guy so I’m feeling a little old and irrelevant here, but I suppose the moral of the story is to be somewhat irrelevant. A lot of people don’t think twice about their actions. Everything has a consequence.
You, old?
What are you talking about Bryan?
You look like a really young guy.
btw, your daughter is a beauty!
Jonathan: considering an outcome before acting is flat out respectable. By others and for others. I like the moral of the story that you shared. We’re often enticed, tested and tricked but it’s up to us to act upon it. I enjoyed the colorful imagery. Peace.
What’s up Dia!
You never disappoint Jonathan with your wild creativity that always leads to an image of truth….Good to see you on here man.
Awesome post man! Nice story
Yeah, don’t look for quick pleasure, look for things that will benefit you on a long term run. Thanks so much for sharing.
Glad you guys enjoyed it..Thanks to all!!!
Unusual and very good post Jonathan, I liked the football commentary running in the background.
The sex drive is very powerful, and over the years of observation I have divided my friends into those who are led by it, and those who aren’t. I’ve always made rational long term judgements about relationships. That means I’ve had less sex than my mates.

Channeling sex energy into creative energy is a sign of wisdom. You know what you are up to, Jonathan. The universe is always testing us by asking, “do you really mean it?” There is no time for soap opera and melodrama when we are expressing our Authentic-Self.
As soon as I started reading, I thought ‘yeah, this is the real deal right here!’
Nice to see you here Jonathan, you’ve done great. Well done my friend.
And thanks for having him Dia! Always enjoy coming to this website
hello jonathan
how are you?
didnt know you were a good story teller and could conjure up scenes that actually happen in real life.
take care of yourself and have a lovely day.
Hi Jonathan,
This story captivated me from the first paragraph. The story was very raw and emotional. I say congratulations to the guy for stepping away. More people need to do that. The lessons from this are fantastic!
Making the right decision is not always an easy thing to do. It is great to hear stories of people who strive to make the right choice. Think before you act. It will save you from a lot of issues and pain.
