1. Commit to your relationship

 If you are giving your relationship half the effort that you should be doing, then know your relationship with your partner will suffer and could end because every successful relationship requires a commitment, effort, and time. I mentioned in my book “how to win your lover’s heart” that love needs effort, otherwise, your relationship will suffer.  What this means is you should make sure you spend time with your partner, do some activities together, and make your relationship a major priority in your life.

2. Unite

Successful relationship requires both people to unite, plan for their future together, work together to overcome obstacles and to work as a team.

3. Solve problems

You should evaluate each problem that arises between your two. Many couples leave small problems accumulate where some of them could have been solved in 5 minutes of talking and communicating with each other.

4. Connect with each other

 One of the best ways you can do to have a healthy a relationship is to connect with your partner. Talk and communicate with each other, share your experiences, and discuss things together.

5. Create a solid foundation

Spend with your partner some time to determine your views, values, and attitudes toward things, so both of you know where each of you stand on different topics. You should examine different subjects such as children, family, religious views, environment, politics, career among other topics.

Always remember that relationship exists because of commitment and commitment exists because of trust. So to have better relationship, commit and trust your partner.

  2. What an important topic here Dia. I like what you said here about solving/discussing ‘problems’ immediately. In so many cases, couples grow apart simply because they never learn to address their problems and concerns in that moment– real time. Stuff just festers and festers until major animosity grows.

      Exactly my friend, many couples leave problems to accumulate and this is dangerous in terms of a relationship. By addressing such problems, they are improving and maintaining a healthy relationship.
